I work at a cleaning company and this beat tape is a tribute to that work. All of the parts were recorded live and chopped up/arranged afterward. This project was primarily recorded from September 2020 to December 2020.

-Kick Drum Pedal hitting my desk
-Bottle Cap Shaker
-misc. perc (tapping water glasses, rattling coin jar, beatboxing, etc.)

The voices in tracks 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, and 13 were sampled from recordings in the Amercan Folkflife Center archives (found by way of the Library of Congress digital collection). Some of the primary sources include: a conversation with travelers in Montana, interviews of Italian immigrants, an interview with a garbage truck driver, a town hall meeting in West Virginia, "man on the street" style interviews after Pearl Harbor and 9/11, and more.
